It is early morning. The sky is covered with gray clouds. The upper part of the sky is dark. The lower part is a little bit bright. The big and tall house standing in front of me in the middle is hiding the pinks, reds, oranges, and yellows of the sunrise. We are in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City. It’s around 6:30 am. At this time, like anywhere in Vietnam, a lot of people are riding motorbikes to go to work. Some people also use bicycles to go to work, but bicycles are mostly used for short distance trips. In Vietnam, many people use the bicycle to do their early morning exercise. Street merchants use bicycles to carry goods to sell. Women usually go to the market by bicycle. Most of students ride bikes to go to school. Those who don’t have a bicycle can walk or ask their parents to give them a ride.
